top ten | Music Videos of 2013

BY EVENTSEEKER STAFF

Yet another Top 10 list from us over here at eventseeker. If you haven’t already been blown away by displays of christmas lights and holiday festivities, here is a little more eye candy that 2013 brought us. We are very thankful for these dancing reverends and unidentifiable creatures of the afterlife, and we don’t mean Thom York. We hope you enjoy our picks for the top 10 music videos of 2013.

Beach House – “Wishes”
Even though High School sucked, we have to admit this music video kills it.
There’s Talk – “The Salt”
Geometrics, nature, and extravagant costumes without tacky flash.
Sky Ferreira – “Night Time My Time”
No need to be nice anymore, Santa already knows. This ones for your dark side that comes out at night.
Foxygen – “San Francisco”
Alice in Wonderland meets 70s mod.
Mumford and Sons – “Hopeless Wanderer”
Our favorite new but old time-y, vintage ambient video.
Glasser – “Design”
Basically all our designers idea of heaven on earth.
Disclosure – “When a Fire Starts to Burn”
This video is the best spoof, we love a dancing reverend as long as he’s not preaching to us.
Cocorosie – “After the Afterlife”
Tribal creatures, double exposure and nature – perfect recipe for a trippy music video.
Atoms For Peace – “Ingenue”
Anytime we can see Thom York in his element, we’re sold.
Bob Dylan – “Like a Rolling Stone” (Interactive)
We love it when an oldie is reinvented for us, the track is timeless, the video new age.

If you want to pretend for a minute that you know more than we do about music, go ahead, send us your thoughts. Hit us with your best shot, we dare you.
