OCTOBER 21, 2014 // CHICAGO, IL // HAUNTED HISTORY PUB CRAWL

Here’s one for the history buff alcoholics. Just kidding, kind of. Visit some of Chicago’s notoriously haunted drinking establishments with supernatural expert Ursula Bielski and discover the chilling stories behind each paranormal space.

OCTOBER 22, 2014 // SEATTLE, WA // DANSES MACABRES: ALL AMERICAN HALLOWEEN

Get classy this Halloween season with the Seattle Philharmonic. A combination of dance and classical music, the program features a suite from Bernard Herrmann’s Oscar-winning score to “The Devil and Daniel Webster”, the world première of music director Adam Stern’s “Spirits of the Dead” and much more! Don’t let the fancy facade fool you. After all, what’s creepier than a chorus of high-pitched, pulsating string instruments (a la Psycho)?

OCTOBER 23, 2014 // SAN FRANCISCO, CA // LOVE CITY HORROR SHOW

Featuring eight of the city’s up-and-coming bands in a multi-room night club turned rock venue, this mini fest is a perfect way to get weird this Halloween season. Add in some $2 draft beers, discounted admission with costume, and all the debauchery that goes with rock and roll and you’ve got one wild celebration of San Francisco’s underground music scene.

Metal, punk and a lot of fake blood. Avoid the drunk frat guys on Sixth Street and spend the first Friday of Halloween week (yes, it gets a whole week) taking on hardcore music and horror films of all styles and budgets.
