Vincent Fenton, aka FKJ (French Kiwi Juice), will perform at 1015 Folsom in San Francisco on May 22. We can’t wait to see his live set, which is known to be filled with improvisation, groove, and solid beats.

Signed by Parisian label Roche Musique, FKJ’s already impressive catalog includes a pair of four track EP releases: Take Off and Time for a Change. The French composer is also featured on multiple compilations and has created remixes for The Temptations, ZHU, and Alice Russell. His productions fuse downtempo beats with funk, soul, and jazzy influences, and his “French Touch” and house music backgrounds are clearly noticeable as well.

The man is also a gifted musician who constantly switches between synthesizer, guitar, and machines during his sets, which is just one more reason why we can’t wait to catch his Bay Area live debut.
Make sure to grab tickets for the show or for others on FKJ’s US tour.
