Germany is known for its exuberant dance parties and outstanding underground music culture that has given artists such as Fritz Kalkbrenner, Boys Noize or Paul Van Dyk their big international break. One of the most happening festivals in Germany is the MS DOCKVILLE festival in Hamburg, taking place August 21-23.
Held on the waterfront of Hamburg, the festival takes place where an industrial landscape meets the ocean, conveying a typical northern German atmosphere. MS DOCKVILLE has been around since 2007 and its visitor numbers have been growing continuously. Mixing urban art with independent music, the festival attracts visitors from all over the world.
This year’s line-up includes Interpol, Darwin Deez, Tom Odell, Boys Noize, Jose Gonzales and many more. We’ll be on site this year to document the activities for you, so be sure to check back next week for our exclusive coverage!
