For this mix we’ve selected tracks from artists signed to the unique label, Captured Tracks. This weekend marks their five year anniversary and to celebrate, they are throwing a two day festival chalk-full of performances from Mac Demarco, Diiv, Beach Fossils, Wild Nothing and more artists you will surely be hearing and reading about in the coming months. We love Captured Tracks not only for their roster but also for their allegiance to the physical releases of vinyl and cassettes in support of their artists. Be sure to check out their Shoegaze Archives which are, “reissues from around the world to investigate this era the same way 60′s Psychedelic and Garage, 70′s Punk, 80′s Post-Punk and Cold Wave and every other nook and cranny of music subculture has been investigated and sprung upon a new generation of listeners.”
