We’ve had a crush on Treasure Island Music Festival since it premiered in 2007. After years of masterful lineups, consistently blending underground hero’s like Mikal Cronin with internationally renowned artists such as FKA twigs and Father John Misty, the fest has earned a reputation for rolling the best of indie and mainstream into a single, two-day event. This year’s fest was no exception. Trade in a dusty camp ground for the San Francisco Bay and add in a comedy tent presented by Funny Or Die, a silent disco and an enhanced recycle/compost system, and you’ve got every environmentally conscious festival junkie’s dream come true.
Here’s the first installment of our two-part recap of Treasure Island Music Festival 2015, seen through the lens of photography Nick Wolf!
