Festival-goers will transcend onto the same grounds that hosted the legendary Monterey Pop Festival of 1967 this weekend for, First City Fest, a homage to the city that hosts the event–Monterey is known as the “first capital” of California. This fresh, coastal setting will showcase the likes of MGMT, Neko Case, Modest Mouse, Devendra Banhardt, Beach House, Father John Misty, Washed Out along with some of our other favorites we’ve featured in this playlist. We’re looking forward to the carnival rides, fresh air and magic music.
