BY MATTEA PIESCH
When you listen to Frank Turner screaming his heart out, singing about break-ups and getting drunk, it seems hard to believe that he actually studied together with Prince William.
Honest and heartfelt lyrics paired with the powerful melodies of his band, The Sleeping Souls, remind us of Bruce Springsteen back in the day. Frank Turner is so authentic that his music makes us feel all the emotions that he puts into his songs while writing it.
After releasing 2015’s Positive Songs for Negative People and the quick-fired follow-up LP Ten For Ten in November of the same year, Turner is finally returning to the stage, bringing along his friends from folk group Skinny Lister.
The British folk hero is weaving through Germany before heading to Canada and the US, so we’re looking forward to catching him and Skinny Lister at the Max Nachttheater in Kiel, Germany next Friday, January 15.
Grab a drink and a friend and make sure to stop by one of Frank Turner’s upcoming shows!
